The children of Glodwick are my first priority. When I am not at school I enjoy reading, cooking, cars and motorbikes!

My Name is Mufti Helal Mahmood and by profession I am a Minister of Religion. I have been a governor at the school for more than 5 years. Mr M Plant

If I have a special interest, it is in the development of literacy and the arts in education.
Mrs M Russell
Staff Governor
I am passionate about my teaching and leadership responsibilities and becoming a member of the governing body has added a new dimension to my role as Deputy Head Teacher. It has also created further opportunities that have enabled me to make a positive impact on the children of Glodwick. I am married and have three sons. One has just started teaching at another Oldham primary school, whist my younger two children attend Crompton House Secondary school.
