Reading

It is vital that your child reads every day at home.  This will help them to make the best possible progress.  To support this children should change their book each morning as they come into school.  Please make sure they choose a book from the colour book band they are currently reading.

Children have a home reading record that should be signed each time they read.  These are checked weekly by the class teacher. The children receive a sticker in their reading record and a dojo point is awarded each time they read at home.
